Vondell Lewis

Vondell Lewis was convicted of murder based on the testimony of a woman who was under the influence of narcotics and had not slept in 24 hours at the time of the crime. She later recanted her testimony, admitted that she never witnessed the crime, and stated that her statement was obtained under duress by investigating detectives.
