Derrick Harris

Derrick Harris was another victim of a bad identification.  In a six-pack photo array used to identify an armed robber, Derrick’s photo was the only one placed in the array that matched the description given by a witness. The only evidence connecting Derrick to the crime was this identification. Nonetheless, he was convicted and sentenced to 15 years in prison. Ultimately, the true perpetrator was discovered, and Derrick was released after spending 7 years in prison for a crime he did not commit.  For more information about Derrick’s case go to:
